Mix and Match Wednesdays

Paresa Kouhestani

Hello darlings! I hope you all are doing so well! Can you believe it's already NOVEMBER! Totally crazy! I've been online shopping, going into stores and researching products so I can update the style blog a little more!

I'm excited to share this look with you that mixes the edge of (faux) leather leggings and suede over-the-knee boots! As I've said (a lot) on the blog, my wardrobe is VERY New York. Meaning I own tons and tons of black and grey clothing items, mixed in with a little maroon! Mixing different textures of black can easily transform any look, especially if it's an all black outft!

This bordeaux sweater is one of my faves- I own it in 3 colors and it's $30!!! It's so affordable, it's comfy and it's long in the back so you can wear leggings or jeans! I've linked more OTK boots at different price points below! How do you rock your OTK boots??

Navy Velvet Tuesdays

Paresa Kouhestani

Hello darlings! I am so excited to share my favorite Fall trend--NAVY VELVET! I will admit--the last time I owned anything in velvet was probably in kindergarten--so a good 19 years ago! For some reason I think velvet is so much cuter when young kids are wearing it as corduroys or dresses-am I right?! However, I've recently found navy velvet accessories to be my new favorite obsession! Navy is the perfect Fall color and adding the velvet to any shoe or accessory just adds an extra something to an outfit!

I've been searching for a cute pair of shoes and a handbag (of sorts) in navy velvet that weren't too pricey and comfortable enough for me to wear A LOT! I found this navy backpack while I was searching the Zara website and instantly fell in love! I went to the Georgetown Zara store, just to see it in person, and knew once I saw it, I had to snatch it before anyone else! I styled a very simple outfit by pairing my favorite BP top (I legit own it in every color it comes in), dark denim skinnies and these loafers! Enjoy!

Below are some of my other navy velvet faves I've come across!

Autumn Thursdays

Paresa Kouhestani

Hello darlings and happy first day of Autumn! I can finally bust out my over-sized sweaters, blanket scarves and comfy clothes! I am so over this heat! I have to admit, I am definitely an Autumn/Winter person! Snuggling up with a good book, Netflix, my favorite podcasts and a huge cup of vanilla chai...honestly, what more could you want?!

I wanted to start off this new season with this beaut ox blood dress that is so incredibly affordable (less than $25!!!!!). Over the summer, I discovered how much I actually love wearing dresses. They are so breathable and make every outfit look effortlessly chic! I had been searching for good dresses for Autumn that were long sleeve, lightweight and had some kind of interesting detail around the neck and found this lovely piece! I paired it with black tights (the front does run a little shorter than what I'm used to) and my favorite black booties! Enjoy the look!
