Hello darlings! Hope you all are having a lovely week! Last weekend I asked a friend if she wanted to explore the RiNo (River North) neighborhood of Denver with me. The lovely friend that she is, said yes, and I started researching! I was able to find some pretty amazing images of RiNo street art from Instagram and Google Images. I also found a new(ish) market that is (slightly) similar to Chelsea Market or Urbanspace Vanderbilt in NYC and immediately thought, YES! I've been hoping Colorado had a market like this somewhere!
Off we went on our adventure to try some local Colorado food at Denver Central Market and find some gorg street art! DCM has different food and drink vendors including seafood, Italian, burgers, bakeries and cafes and it's so chill--and so affordable! I loved the neighborhood because it still felt like you were in the city, minus the massive amounts of people! Right behind DCM, there's a three-block-long alleyway covered in colorful street art- perfect photo shoot location! Including some amazing Stranger Things inspired artwork that I'm completely obsessed with!
After exploring that area we ended walking to the western end of the RiNo neighborhood and stumbled upon the grand opening of a group of restaurants and shops with free champagne, snacks and music. The weather was so beaut and it was so nice to enjoy and celebrate outside! After exploring the RiNo area, we popped over to the opening of local boutique Patterns & Pops which was also so much fun! Trendy clothes, photo-booths, wine, desserts, what more could you want?
Because we were going to be roaming around for a while, I wanted to style an outfit that was comfy and lightweight because the weather was so gorgeous! I also wanted to wear something that didn't leave my skin super exposed to the sun (#palepeopleprobs). I don't know about the rest of you, but Persians LOVE their pomegranates, so once I found this light denim button down with pomegranate detailing on the back, I knew I needed it! I was worried about the wash of the denim, because, as you all know, I love my black! It ended up working out really well once I figured out what jeans and shorts I could pair it with! I ordered a small at first, but the shoulder fit was a bit tight for me so I ended up ordering a medium instead and it was perfect! Not only is the length amazing, but the fabric is light enough to wear it through every season!
I paired the Zara top with my trusty Topshop black skinnies, blush pink velvet Steven Madden flats, and Dior sunnies. Enjoy!
