Shift Dress Thursdays

Paresa Kouhestani

Hello darlings! Hope those of you in the East Coast survived the crazy weather!! Here in Colorado, it's been a little more tame, but we are expecting some snow this weekend so I can't wait to break out my heavy sweaters and drink loads of hot chocolate! In the mean time, I wanted to share a very basic outfit I have worn to work a couple times just for the comfort and simplicity of it. One of my dear friends from uni runs a local boutique called W in the Cherry Creek shopping district in Denver and everything retails under $100 (amazing right??). One side of the store is very NYC inspired with power statements in blacks and grays and the other side of the store is very California with flowy and more casual items. My shift dress is from there and it comes it multiple colors, so the next time you're in Denver, hit up W Boutique!!

Small Business Sundays

It is so important to support your local businesses-especially around the holidays. The company Patterns & Pops is a local mobile fashion company in Denver. They don't have a store front or a booth set up at markets-they have a fashion truck. I know right?! What in the world is a fashion truck? Basically it is a boutique set up in the back of a mini bus. They are the newest trend and the most brilliant thing ever. In addition to traipsing around Denver, Patterns & Pops also sets up for private parties and does out of state business on their website. I've bought a few Colorado pride t-shirts from them and they are so comfortable and make cute-basic designs.
